Why can't I view the Web Link example more than once?
There are a number of reasons why you can't view the Web Link Example multiple times.
Convenience - If someone already went through the steps necessary to discover your email address, they should be able to get it immediately if they accidentally close the window.
Security - The fewer attempts people have to analyze sample "unmask" questions, the more difficult it will be for them to defeat the system. This is just one of the many, many ways we use to protect your data.
How accessible will the email link be?
We have done lots of testing to make sure our service can be used by people with accessibility issues. The default link code supports javascript popups for users that have javascript enbaled. For users who don't, a non-javascript version is provided. For users who are unable to view the image, we provide a textual authentication process. The text pages have been validated XHTML 1.0 Strict. They have also been tested using JAWS Screen Reader. The site has been tested without javascript, on handheld devices, and by visually impaired users.
Will this always be free?
Yes.
Why should I trust you with my email address?
If you don't trust us, run a simple test - create a new email account at a free provider, and sign up at MailMask.net. We can guarantee you won't receive any spam at that address, because we never send spam to the email addresses in our database. We will never sell our database to spammers, or give it out - we're in the database too. In the end, clearly only sign up if you're comfortable with it. At the very least, the system is better than nothing. It will greatly complicate the lives of any harvester bot who is trying to find your e-mail address.
