WATERLOO, ONTARIO - The creators of MailMask.net are happy to release their site to the public today. The introduction of their free service marks a new era in spam avoidance.
MailMask.net is an unique service that allows its users to proactivly exclude unwanted e-mails from their inbox. This is accomplished in two ways: the first is MailMask's unique 'e-mail link' feature, where users can use a MailMask link to replace a standard email link anywhere their email address is published online. Automated email harvesters are then blocked from finding the email address, but human users are still able to access it.
The second way MailMask.net keeps away unwanted email is by giving its users a second '@mailmask.net' address they can use in 'spam-likely' situations. When a message is sent to this address, an auto-reply is sent back. This auto-reply contains some instructions and a link directing users how to find out your real email address. However, when automated emails are sent to this address, such as advertisements, no human user is on the other end to receive the auto-reply and the spammers won't find out your real address. In order to increase the functionality of their service, the MailMask.net development team has set up their site so that users can log in and view the last 30 emails that have been sent to their @mailmask.net address. This way, if an email verification is needed, as it often is for free trials, people can use their @mailmask.net address.
The team at MailMask.net is excited by the launch of their new service. They are looking forward to signing up users and to start foiling the spammers. Sign up today at www.mailmask.net!
